Prototyping involves creating some kind of artifact that can be used to test out an idea and get feedback on it. In the context of education, this could be a new classroom routine, a monthly newsletter to better communicate with families, or a process for responding to absent students. This video, part of a series of professional learning modules on continuous improvement methods developed by REL West, starts with the concept of a “change idea” and goes on to explain how prototyping works.
